I'm Pierre FILSTROFF. A senior software engineer based in Strasbourg, France.

Software engineer with over 15 years of experience, I specialize in Ruby on Rails and Hotwire, with deep expertise in Android and iOS mobile development. My versatility allows me to master both backend development and the creation of native mobile applications.

As a senior software engineer, I have tackled diverse technical challenges — from implementing pub/sub in-app purchase notifications and integrating health check-ups, to setting up self-hosted monitoring with Grafana and Prometheus, building Elasticsearch-based recommendation systems, and configuring Kamal deployments. I have also served as a technical lead, responsible for product security, API and mobile releases, and development of Android/iOS applications using turbo-android and turbo-ios.

Rigorous and methodical, I invest myself in each project with a quality-oriented approach and continuous integration. My global vision of the software development cycle, from design to production, enables me to provide complete, long-term solutions to the most complex technical challenges.

Beyond backend and mobile, my interests extend to Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps, and self-hosting infrastructure with Proxmox.
